Required Education and Credentials

Master's Degree in Counseling or Master's Degree in Social Work

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years working directly with children and families in their natural environment 

Required Skills

Must be able to use Microsoft office software, electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphone, fax machines, scanners . 

Additional 

Current driver license, dependable transportation, current auto and malpractice insurance Must pass drug screens,

ADI/FBI and CA/N clearance. 

Primary Job Responsibilities (Not Exhaustive)

  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with consumers, community partners and referral source.

  • Travel to and from consumers’ homes and meeting locations.

  • Work collaboratively with other service providers and professionals.

  • Participate in monthly/quarterly, one-on-one, individual and group supervision.

  • Communicate with DHR weekly related to cases.

  • Complete clinical notes and documentation in a timely manner.

  • Develop treatment plans and update treatment plans every 90 days.

  • Remain current on therapeutic and behavioral strategies designed to improve family functioning and decrease or eliminate hazardous factors.

  • Ensure that children and families are receiving all services as documented in their Treatment Plan, ISP, and 1878

  • Attend pertinent meetings such as IEPs, ISPs, and court hearings, as required, as well as other required meetings and trainings

  • Communicate effectively, honestly and accurately both orally and in writing.

  • Additional duties as assigned.
